Terms and Conditions
Welcome to Philcon Plumbing Services. By booking any of our services, you acknowledge and agree to the following Terms and Conditions.
1. BOOKINGS AND QUOTATIONS
All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by Philcon Plumbing Services. Quotations provided are based on the information available at the time and may be subject to adjustment if additional work or materials are required. Quotations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
2. LABOUR AND MATERIALS
Labour charges apply to all work carried out unless otherwise agreed in writing. Materials, fittings, and replacement parts are charged separately unless specifically included in the quotation. Any additional labour or materials required during the course of the work will be communicated to the customer for approval before proceeding.
3. PAYMENT TERMS
Payment is due immediately upon completion of the work unless alternative arrangements have been agreed to in writing. For larger projects, a deposit or progress payments may be required. Accepted payment methods include EFT and Credit/Debit Card payments. Cash payments may only be accepted by prior arrangement.All prices quoted are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated.
4. CANCELLATIONS AND RESCHEDULING
Customers are requested to provide at least 12 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling of appointments. Philcon Plumbing Services reserves the right to reschedule appointments due to unforeseen circumstances, emergencies, or weather conditions.
5. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES
Customers must provide accurate information regarding the nature of the plumbing issue or project. Safe and unobstructed access to the work area must be provided. Customers are responsible for obtaining any permissions, approvals, or access arrangements required before work can commence.
6. WORKMANSHIP GUARANTEE
Philcon Plumbing Services guarantees workmanship on completed and fully paid work as follows: Blocked drain clearing - No Guarantees, General plumbing repairs - 90 days Guarantees apply only to the specific work carried out by Philcon Plumbing Services. The guarantee does not cover misuse, abuse, accidental damage, normal wear and tear, pre-existing defects, or work performed by third parties.
7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
While Philcon Plumbing Services takes every reasonable care in carrying out its work, we shall not be held liable for any pre-existing plumbing defects, hidden conditions, or faults that were not reasonably detectable before work commenced; structural damage resulting from concealed defects, ageing or deteriorated infrastructure; or damage to underground services, irrigation systems, electrical cables, paving, gardens, walls, plaster, paintwork, tiles, flooring, ceilings, or other finishes where reasonable access is necessary to complete the agreed work. We are also not responsible for delays, interruptions, or additional costs arising from unforeseen circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including hidden site conditions, municipal service issues, supplier delays, or adverse weather conditions. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Philcon Plumbing Services' total liability for any claim arising from the services provided shall be limited to the value of the specific services supplied under the relevant quotation or invoice.
8. EMERGENCY SERVICES
Emergency call-out services may attract additional charges depending on the time, location, and nature of the emergency. Emergency rates will be communicated to the customer before work commences where possible.
9. PRIVACY AND DATA PROTECTION
Customer information is collected solely for the purpose of providing our services. Philcon Plumbing Services will not disclose personal information to third parties without consent unless required by law. All customer information is handled in accordance with applicable privacy and data protection legislation.
10. FORCE MAJEURE
Philcon Plumbing Services shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform services due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: Extreme weather conditions, Natural disasters, Power outages, Accidents, Civil unrest, Supplier shortages, Other unforeseen events. Additional costs incurred as a result of such circumstances may be charged where applicable.
11. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By engaging, booking, or accepting services from Philcon Plumbing Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
